Whatever day the expedition is on

The final lot of rest days begin as team 1 heads out to serena lodge after a stint to 'the waterfall. However due to an interesting route choice the team didn't actually get to the location but did manage to take photographs from a distance away. They decided not to press on due to the time but in doing this they managed to locate a snake, which Jack nearly stood on. After a bumpy ride thanks to Niall's driving style the team arrived at serena lodge . The first activity was to have a delicious three course meal of soup, steak and chocolate cake. Then they took a dip in the infinity pool and then enjoyed a nice warm shower and headed for the site.

Team 3 spent a morning in the masai market haggling and trading for the best price with many gifts bought. The other teams bar the aforementioned teams 1&3 spent the day rendering, mixing and generally slaving away .

Ps The pit is where we throw what remains of.the campsites waste water which may or may not include food.

  4. Molly, I'm back in Newcastle where it is much cooler than last week in the lovely 'holiday house'. My keyfob was changed whilst I was away and I couldn't get in, maybe the neighbours were spying on me this time?
The building is looking good, very impressive. Happy I didn't see the snake but the swimming pool sounds very nice. Hope you're still enjoying getting up early!
    love, Clare P.

  5. Wow the building looks great, Brian could have had it up in two days mind. My hair changing colour as ever like political polices is back to blue after a brief purple and light grey stint, like a promise of free university fees. You've been spotted in photos again, each time coming with an eager exhale of breath, a grin and then a secret snigger at the fashion choices that will haunt you. (I'll make sure of it). None the less looking gorgeous as ever, were still all waiting for a picture of the long drop, or should we be thankful of the lack of... get a photo before Kevlar gets in there. Love stella x

  6. Wow. It looks like a real building now. Well done everyone.
Holly I love spotting your hat in the pictures!
Steak and chocolate cake😳, infinity pool, I'm jealous Wish we were having some of that!
Instead we have pasta, any dessert including apples and it plums (all the fruit trees are ready) and of course puddles.
The kids are a hoot and a wonderful source of entertainment. There was a pleasant amount of sunshine today so Emily went to music in shorts and wellies. Tom said he is too old for music and he doesn't want to be ed sheeran ya know! Jack and Charlie have decided to become teenagers and both sigh and huff and slouch enough for me to not miss you at all.
Dad is mostly holed up in the office so I am going to take my huff and go to seaham hall with it for a spa day.
I suspect the lavender farm may not be in its height when you come home but I will hold onto that dream.
Lots o loves from the Westgarth-Graham's and the Gaskgarths send their love too❤️
