I'm an explorer get me out of.....

*Geordie accent
Today in the jungle,
We woke early in the morning bright eyed and bushy tailed, except for team 4  who were asleep in their beds. I wished that was us today we had a real bushtucker trial of mixing cement and our favourite thing... brick laying.
We ventured back to camp for breakfast where we saw the excitable team 4 ready to go.

Breakfast was the same old food of beans bread and sausage, with team 4 ready to go on rest day....groans for flamingo lodge came from the rest of the team.

We went back to the build site ready to work apart from the ginger team who were wanting to work the best they could but were labelled the cripple team.

We were slaving away in the intense blistering heat but the worst hadn't come....we knew that a worse heat was coming.

We managed to get a lot of bricks laid. Team 6 were making cement while trying to manage all the different problems we were having with our backs. We were relieved when lunch came! The food was good but the best part of lunch was that we found out we were all given the afternoon off as we had worked so hard, however some teams had to spend an hour working taking turns to do work.

After tea we found a special addition to the long drops: A wasp that was flying up the long drop once you squatted, so we decided that it was a special breed of wasp " the African bumming wasp" that gave many people a fright.

But we cannot forget the fantastic team 5 are on rest day tomorrow and the stupendous team 6 the day after just to let you know.

By David and Harry.

  7. It's day 19 in the Little Brother house and all the siblings are awake. Mam and dad are left recovering from last nights musical beds and holly is still nowhere to be seen.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the sounds of minecraft carry gently on the breeze.
Tonight Charlie is up for eviction and is doing all he can to get the others on side. Using this to her advantage Mother ropes all the housemates into a range of daring activities including putting away the shoes and feeding the dog.
Tom breaks rank first and won't accept the challenges faced in little big planet and looks set to vote Charlie out. No amount of apologies or offering the controller seems to make a difference and the two avoid each other for the rest of the day.
Jack who always has problems voting
Is still trying to keep the peace within the house showing us why he is the favourite to win Little Brother 2017
Emily is still spreading sass and causing rows between housemates. Making enemies of previous female housemates by stealing and obliterating items of make up, so she begins on the males by cunningly cutting up their pokemon cards.
During the day Charlie can be seen chatting quietly to Emily and appears to breaking the rules about not discussing evictions.
Big Brother has called Charlie in for a chat.
'It wasn't me' is his only comment as he girates and mutters about being caught red handed, bathroom floors and shaggy.
Finally the vote is in and it's a shocker. It's Mother who is leaving the house. No-one saw that one coming and could be a blow to the bookies There are no goodbyes as she exits the house and looks rather triumphantly around the outside world.
    What a cliff hanger!!!
Will mother return? How will the house cope without her? Will the siblings ever tidy their bedrooms and where has dad gone?
Tune in tomorrow for the next instalement of Little Brother.
Sorry Speaking of Geordie accents I proceeded to read out the blog in my best Geordie only to realise it was in BigBrother stylee but by then I had got into my stride.
Hope all is well doll. We miss and love you and are getting into Mr Chief (😂)while you are away.
Lots o loves, juggles and good stuffs

  10. Just to let you know we are still alive. In Cornwall. Weather wet but funnily enough so is the sea so not a problem really. No bumming wasps here not hot enough, wet weather driving the wildlife indoors...ste still pulling the slug out of his toes after standing on one last night (nothing to do with the red wine)
Might stay for a while, the key is under the plant pot!

  19. Hellooo Izzy, Tabby here.

I've pinched the toona openers phone to do this. Well what can I say? I'm absolutely livid that the naggy hooman and the toona opener didn't tell me that you had gone away for 4 weeks. Had I known this I would have been able to relax, instead I've still been hiding in a variety of places to avoid the inevitable Izzy squeezes, although secretly I love them.

The hoomans and are being very strange, stranger than normal anyway. I think you need to come home because they are emptying the house, which I have put down to you not being here to stop them doing this. We have now lost most of our prime mouse storage areas and now have bring in twice as many just so we can have at least one in the house.

I think Sam is very confused that you're not here although it’s difficult to tell as he always looks a bit dopey. He is bringing a variety of new pets in to see if he can get you out of hiding to give them a squeeze. I'm not convinced that you would like to squeeze the bottom half of a vole but it keeps him happy, simple things please simple minds as they say.

Tilly still tries to hit us every time we walk past but I have a theory about this that she is just a prat and could do with a bloody good slap. She could also do with eating more to get the same beautiful physique as me.

Minnie has taken to sitting with the hoomans on the couch. I think she is doing this as a cunning ploy to get more dreamies, prawns and toona, I like her style. Due to this she is now getting a lovely rounded figure like mine.

Now for an update on me. I'm still the most beautiful cat in the world and make sure that I make everyone's life better by allowing them to look at me. I'm still extremely athletic and have to deliberately fall off the window sill just so that other cats don't feel bad about themselves. Everyone here still loves me, which isn't surprising as I am so magnificent, but no-one squeezes like you.

The hoomans say you might bring something back but please don't as they will be sad when all your love goes to me when you see me and you forget them.

Better move as the toona opener looks a bit too comfortable and would like his phone back.

    Miss you
Tabby, Tilly, Sam and Minnie x

  20. Dearest Holly,

By now I assume you're baking a lovely shade of magenta in the scorching Tanzanian heat, you are quite a legend for even thinking about bearing it. Jokes aside, we all miss you very much and look forward to hearing about your expedition when you come home. With you and Rachel having so many tales to tell about your African adventures I may have to resort to sitting in a dark corner sobbing to the soundtrack of the Lion King. I am of course joking and I am so glad that you have finally made it after so long fundraising and preparing, very proud of you!

Tea party when you're back in Boro sound good? I hope so.

Lots of love from your curly haired friend,

    Lily xxx

  22. Hi Clare and Charlotte, haven't been able to follow as had problems with wifi (not only in Tanzania eh)!! Building is looking good even looks like the scaffolding is holding up - 😂😂 I expect you are both fighting fit now and if you're interested there is a pile of bricks in the garden that need moving. Drew is fine and still sleeping! Off to village fair this afternoon where I am singing with the Rock Choir, hopefully not too much heckling from the audience. Drew had a avoid birthday , he now has a very very loud music system - you'll love it mum 😱.

It's great to see that everyone's having a fantastic time and doing such great work for the local community. Keep up the amazingly funny blogs.

Lots of love, see you soon. Grandma and Drew xx
Ps. Don't forget mum you have got to pat a lion for me and I want a pic. Xx
